I still can't believe that I'm here. The wait has been well worth it. Glasgow is an awesome city and the people I have met so far are just as cool. I've spent most of this week getting to know the city and getting to know my flatmates and others. The first site of the city from the airplane was very thrilling. Seeing the buildings rising from such a deep green, rolling landscape was really neat, then two days ago I was able to see the city up close and personal on a double decker bus tour. Unfortunately, I forgot to charge my camera so I didn't get too many pictures. The campus and my flat (aka apartment) are literally in the heart of the city. It only takes about 5 minutes to get to the city center and George Square which is pretty amazing. The only downfall I've found so far though is that there is one major hill right off of campus that is a pain to climb back up, but I probably need to work off all the beer I have been drinking anyway.
Here are a few pictures from my bus tour. Its not much but don't worry I plan on visiting each of these places again with much better pictures.

University of Glasgow (aka Hogwarts), unfortunately my university is not this beautiful, but its still pretty cool

Riverside Museum of Transport, Zaha Hadid

Clyde Auditorium, locally known as the "armadillo", Sir Norman Foster

Not sure what this was...

George Square
I've met so many people already, its a bit overwhelming, and I suck at names so its not a very good combination. Anyway, the stack of flats that I live is the international stack, so I've met people from all over the place. Most of my flatmates are american, but there is also one from Australia, the Czech Republic, and from France all of them super cool.
